Children in Years 3 and 4 have the opportunity to attend the School Farm and Country Fair at Trinity Park in Ipswich on Thursday 20th April 2023.
The day will allow pupils to experience many different aspects of farming, food production and the countryside through demonstrations and interactive exhibits.
The day will cover many areas of the National Curriculum and be structured around zones including food, STEM, Livestock and Conservation. There will be opportunities for pupils to plant seeds, learn how sugar and rapeseed oil are made and how potatoes and other vegetables are grown and they will also be able to touch some of the farm animals.
